Everyone Is Trying To Force Me Into In-patient Treatment for Depression

asmith244

My depression has gotten so bad recently that I have had to withdraw from school. My parents, therapist, and psychiatrist all want me to enter one of those 30 day treatment centers, but I don't know if I can do it. The rules are very strict and you can hardly see your friends and family outside, nor communicate with them very often. How is isolation from your family and friends supposed to help you with your depression. Has anyone ever been to one of those centers? Does anyone have any advice? Looking for help!!!
